When is Easter this year?

The date of Easter changes from year to year. In 2019, Easter Sunday falls on April 21st.

Springtime is usually the first sign of many things including warm and fresh flowers, warm weather, and Easter.

Unlike other holidays which come on specific dates, Easter is not always predictable.

Easter Brunch Las Vegas

If you plan on visiting Las Vegas for Easter, there are plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy brunch.

It does not matter whether you want it to be sweet and intimate or an outdoor festivity. Las Vegas is great for enjoying mimosas.

The following are some of the most interesting brunch restaurants

The Gospel Brunch marks this holy time with reverence to music and food that is both entertaining and fulfilling.

Why Do We Hunt Eggs on Easter?

The tradition of hiding eggs for young ones to find and collect comes from early Christian symbolism of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The traces of this Easter related cultural, religious activity goes back to Martin Luther, the 17th-century protestant reformer who is recorded to have organized eggs hunts.

The males stashed the eggs in difficult to find places where the children and womenfolk would engender to locate them.

The English introduction of the egg hunt game is augmented by an 1892 lecture with Professor AE Housman at the University College in London.

He stated that the tradition was recorded in Germany where they would hide eggs that were brightly colored for the amusement of the children.

The connotation of an egg hunt can also resonate with the searching for Jesus Christ after the tomb was found empty by the early Christians.
